BEAMS presents Motonogo 5th Anniversary & Finale with guests

After five years, Motonogo, described by CKUA and Vue Weekly as "Edmonton's worst band," will depart for good, but not before subjecting the city to a final show that coincides with the fifth anniversary of their first-ever gig.

Special guests include former California and New York sonic terror Blip Vert, as well as the highly-lauded D.N.E. Also appearing will be IVI and. m.o.a.i.n., two individual sets involving 2/3 of the S'sE Sessions lineup.

Presented by the Boreal Electroacoustic Music Society, the event is free to the public, but patrons are encouraged to bring a non-perishable consumable donation to Edmonton's Food Bank.

Call for sound art, electroacoustic or experimental music

BEAMS (Boreal Electroacoustic Music Society) will be presenting an evening of performance and sound on June 29, 2018 in Edmonton, Alberta at the Ortona Armoury Arts Building (9722 – 102 Street) as part of The Works Art & Design Festival. We require art works and performances to present at this event!

Performance pieces should be less than 15 minutes in duration and can consist of live, fixed media, improvisations, interactive works, solo or ensemble, exploring new audience performer paradigms, machine-human interactions, sound poetry---your imagination is the limit. The theme of The Works this year is Visual Cortex. You may draw inspiration from their theme. An artist fee will be paid.
