As
part of worldwide weed-worshiping events, the Boreal Electroacoustic
Music Society presents BEAMS 420, a multimedia event featuring five of
the city's most interesting electronic-oriented acts, taking place
Thursday, April 20 at Bohemia (10217-97 Street).
Shawn Pinchbeck, Brendan Anderson and Damno Te headline the event as they team up for their own soundtrack to the ridiculed B-movie propaganda flick Reefer Madness. Also featured will be a tandem involving John Armstrong and Brett Miles as well as a live debut by noise duo SWILL.

Showtime is 9 p.m. Admission is $10 (BEAMS members half-price). No minors.
