BEAMS at The Works!
Call for sound art,
electroacoustic or
experimental music
BEAMS (Boreal
Electroacoustic Music
Society) will be presenting an evening of performance and
sound on June 29,
2018 in Edmonton, Alberta at the Ortona Armoury Arts Building
(9722 – 102
Street) as part of The Works Art & Design Festival. We
require art works
and performances to present at this event!
Performance pieces should
be less than 15
minutes in duration and can consist of live, fixed media,
improvisations,
interactive works, solo or ensemble, exploring new audience
performer
paradigms, machine-human interactions, sound poetry---your
imagination is the
limit. The theme of The Works this year is Visual Cortex. You
may draw
inspiration from their theme. An artist fee will be paid.
